Brummie Banquets

The last few days were not good for The Waist of Shoelace. A trip to Birmingham with Booty Lace meant an inevitable visit to the Cadbury factory at Bourneville. They virtually make you eat chocolate there! And it's virtually free! We also ended up at Old Orleans restaurant. Here, we were waited on by an individual of questionable gender. I think I might have eaten almost a whole hog there. A couple of creamy cocktails were also consumed.

After Mrs Lace returned home, I spent my time with The Troubadour which meant script-writing and 4am Xbox sessions. Despite a valiant risotto and tortilla-less fajita, the nature of the tasks at hand meant a move towards the less arduous Tuc biscuits with cream cheese, Malted Milks, pasties and Dominoes (pizza that is). Not a good start.
